Was Pakistan's Fight against COVID-19 Effective?

Pakistan has been always successful in fighting wars for the root cause. Since independence, Pakistan has won every war whether it was conventional or terror and now the novel coronavirus. Every challenge that passed through the country has testified to patriotic nationalists and people. Pakistan has proved that they get themselves united in wartime.

This is not the first time in Pakistan that a harmful disease-causing virus has entered, namely, COVID-19. When the virus caused the outbreak in neighbouring China, the Chinese diplomats alarmed Pakistan's administration to take precautionary steps. Way after this, Pakistan ceased normal transportation on the Silk Road (Route from Pakistan to China). In contrast to this India was quite happy to see this blockade as part of tactics for the CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) cancellation. At that time the USA and European states were normally in operation.

Just two weeks later, Pakistan had several suspected coronavirus cases and world international flight operations were also ceased. At first, Pakistan closed its all borders, and PIA limited the flights and later terminated them. The government was already keen to take part in the coronavirus research work being held in China and later both countries collaborated. As a part of the friendship, Pakistan helped China in terms of medical supplies and other types of equipment.

The government took several measures to control coronavirus spread. All schools, universities and high boarding institutes were announced closed. WHO announced a budget of 8 billion for COVID-19 relief. The government formed the COVID-19 donation fund account to collect all the donations and Zakats from overseas Pakistanis. PM Imran Khan announced the Corona Tiger Force to get help from volunteers nationwide. Significant personalities, including Jack Maa (Founder of Alibaba Group), provided several ventilators, masks and related equipment. At that time, China had stopped the export of ventilators around the world, but Pakistan's successful diplomacy proved itself beneficial in ordering thousands of ventilators from China. Not only this, but many organizations also worked for the local production of ventilators and among those POF (Pakistan Ordnance Factory) was one of them that fulfilled the supplies.
